ABOUT US
The Marshall Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization aims to increase parental awareness of school policy, direction, goals and procedures in order to improve teacher, parent, and student communication. We promote positive programs that include teachers, parents and students for the purpose of establishing closer relationships between home and school. Where possible, we raise funds in order to provide needed additional materials or services for the school to enhance students’ educational experience. Overall, we promote the authenticity of the Gifted Academy at Thurgood Marshall Elementary by adhering to the integrity of the gifted program’s philosophies

HELP US!
We do our best to facilitate opportunities for families to be involved—which is critical! Research shows that when parents are involved in school, children do better: the earlier the involvement, the more pronounced and long-lasting the impact! Check the Calendar of Events for upcoming activities and the Volunteer section to learn how you can help!
